Annuity and Pricing Report
Objective: Gain an understanding of the Annuity and Pricing report
An annuity and pricing report is a full cost pricing report, which allows for annuity analysis and future pricing of services. For a given strategy or set level of service, Predictor forecasts the future maintenance, renewal, and operational costs. The annuity and pricing report will also consider the initial costs of acquisition, which may have been internally funded or acquired through an external grant. Users may also factor in a loan schedule used to acquire the asset.
Finally, this report will provide the total cost per rate payer/stakeholder for providing and maintaining that asset portfolio at a set level, which forms the basis of community consultations and long term strategic asset management planning.
- Click View Report after selecting Annuity and Pricing from the drop down menu. The following screen will appear:
- Acquisition - Internal Funding
Internal funding that has been used in the acquisition/renewal of assets and that has to be paid back in the future
- Acquisition - External Loan
External funding that has been used in the acquisition/renewal of assets and that has to be paid back in the future
- Acquisition - Total Cost
Sum of internal funding and external loans (automatically carried out by the system)
- Annual Operational Cost
The annual operational cost of assets, input this manually even if it was provided in setting up strategy
- Internal Funding Period
Remaining pay back period of internal funds
- External Loan Term
Remaining pay back period of external loans
- Total Rateable Properties
Number of rateable properties, number of stakeholders who bear the cost of providing the service
After inputting the relevant data and clicking OK, the following screen will appear:
